Services

What we can do for you!

Maintaining a healthy smile begins with being proactive about dental care. During each appointment at Ascent Dental, our team examines your teeth and gums for signs of cavities, oral cancer, periodontal disease, and other conditions. By addressing any potential issues early on, we can help you maintain a healthy, beautiful smile for years to come.
Missing teeth can have a significant impact on your quality of life, but dentures can provide a solution. Whether your teeth are missing due to aging, decay, or an accident, dentures are an excellent option to restore your smile’s esthetics and some functionality.
At Ascent Dental, we aim to keep your smile healthy and beautiful by recommending dental cleaning based on your gum health. Our cleanings remove harmful plaque and tartar buildup that can harm your gums while polishing your enamel for a bright and healthy smile.
If you’re dissatisfied with your teeth’s appearance, we have a solution for you! Ascent Dental provides an in-office whitening service called Glo Professional Whitening that can brighten your teeth by several shades without causing any sensitivity.
Restorative dentistry focuses on restoring both the function and appearance of damaged teeth. At Ascent Dental, our restorative services include tooth-colored fillings, custom-matched crowns, and bridges to help bring back the natural look and feel of your teeth.
Establishing healthy dental habits early on is crucial. By educating and modeling good habits, children can develop positive experiences with dental care. We recommend bringing your child in for their first dental check-up and cleaning 6 months after their first tooth erupts.
Root canal therapy is a recommended treatment when a tooth is severely decayed or fractured, leading to irritation and inflammation of the nerve. This therapy enables the removal of diseased tissue and promotes the healing of the infected tooth.
At Ascent Dental, we’re proud to provide a pain-free and compassionate teeth extraction service. Whether you’re dealing with troublesome wisdom teeth, severe decay, or require extractions for orthodontic reasons, our experienced team is here to ensure your comfort throughout the process..

Frequently Asked

Questions

Each new patient will undergo a comprehensive oral examination, including the use of dental X-rays. These X-rays are essential for a detailed assessment, aiding in the diagnosis of any dental conditions or diseases. Additionally, a periodontal examination will be performed to evaluate gum health. Based on the gathered information, a comprehensive treatment plan will be presented, outlining the recommended treatment sequence. This is also an excellent opportunity to have a discussion with Dr. Zil Patel about any dental concerns you may have.

Regular dental visits are crucial for overall health because they:

1. Prevent tooth decay
2. Safeguard against gum disease and tooth loss
3. Combat bad breath and reduce oral bacteria
4. Enable early screening for oral cancer and other issues
5. Enhance your smile and boost self-confidence
6. Maintain bright, stain-free teeth
7. Strengthen teeth for lifelong smiles!

Gum disease is mostly caused by plaque and bacteria buildup that is not treated in its early stage. Other causes of periodontal disease include tobacco use, teeth grinding, some medications, and genetics. Gingivitis is the beginning stage of gum disease that can be easily treated with routine 6-month cleaning. Untreated gingivitis may turn into gum disease. Advanced gum disease will lead to bone loss and eventually tooth loss. Gum disease can be managed by 3-month cleanings and aggressive home care to prevent further damage to gums.

To schedule an appointment, the most convenient methods are either by directly calling our office at 817-677-9090 or utilizing our website. Any appointments made online through our website will be confirmed by our office through a subsequent follow-up call.

We aim to help you make the most of your insurance benefits, and we’re committed to thoroughly researching your coverage before your appointment. Providing us with precise insurance details, along with your history of any previous procedures, exams, or cleanings you’ve undergone this year, is crucial to obtaining the most accurate cost estimate.
